Generally how many days it takes to get the actual RFE in hand.
I saw status update on May 20th and yet to get the copy in hand.
Me or my lawyer have not received it yet.
What are the next steps if we don't get it soon.

Its not just any Mark Krikorian, its our beloved 'bigot/racist Mark' - please make sure you always use that prefix or he will be very upset. He's already pissed that anytime the CIS' news releases are picked up by the newspapers/TV, they apparently describe CIS as merely an organization that wants 'stricter immigration' and deliberately leave out their illustrious founding by a courageous racist John Tanton. So - in confusion, ladys, jellyspoons , julia preston, nytimes et all - don't piss off our CIS ppl or they will deport your ass to wherever it came from! My GC was approved last month after a very long wait time. Currently I am working for company B on EAD (not the GC filing employer). The question I had was can I continue to work for company B on a part time basis and join company A (GC filling employer).
Company A has a 9 month probation period I am worried if i quiet company B and company A fire me later then I will be with out job.
So I can work for company A (GC filing employer) full time and at the same time work part time with company B.
So this way if company A does fire me during probation period I continue with company B :confused: on full time basis. Is this ok will it come to haunt me when I file for citizenship?

I have asked about whether I need to wait for the AP, but my lawyers have said I have to wait until the fingerprinting is done and I have the travel document before I leave..!!! Maybe I need to ring the immigration department again and confirm once again. I keep getting different information from different people..!!

Yes I feel at the end of the day most people were against amnesty, and other Bills for Illegals kind of would have lead to it inspite of promising not to (backdoor).
This was all in spite of them having spent millions of dollars over more than 4 years, along with campaign contributions, processions, strong lobbying and what not, and still no change in law to show for it - back to square one.
They have a huge advantage over Immigration voice in terms of donors and funding available, which needs to change.

snathan - How different is different enough for USCIS/DOL to be okay with it? Would the num of years of experience be helpful if it was different.
I guess I am trying to figure out if I should let go of this position and wait for another one to come around if it's the current one is not worth pursuing due to potential issues during I140 stage.

$1000 is a lot for Premium Processing and VSC is profiting a lot from this. They are running a business for sure....
Its only extensions which are a long time.
USCIS is self-funded from application fees. They don't get any other funding as far as I know. So, sure they are running a business.
I know its not cheap, but atleast there is a way. I have been in this long enough to know times when it took a long time without an option of premium processing.
You can always make your employer pay for the fees.

Does this mean anything ?
I have an LUD of 8/12/07 as well and I sent my 485 on August 7. Therefore, I think this LUD means diddly squat.

My employer filed my I 485 last year during July visa bulletin under EB3. My I 140 is already approved from the same employer. Now my employer is planning to apply for EB2 labor. My question is
1) Once my EB2 labor gets approved, Do they have to file new I 140 again (OR) can they use the approved I 140 (EB3) to port my PD to EB2 application
2) If they apply for new EB2 140...does this invalidate my approved EB3 140 ???:confused:
3) If they have to file I 140 again for EB2...is this I 140 goes through the regular time frames (12months) (OR) since my EB3 140 is already approved my EB2 140 gets approved faster.
Please Guru's share your thoughts.

I am not sure how the Bill gets intorduced into the senate...but if only the h1 increase is the sticking point in the skil .....for now lets only focus of the visa retrogression and the waiver for visa numbers for people with STEM degrees and quicker processing of BEC's....I think we need to get the benefit in smaller chunks...

I am in same situation and had a meeting with my attorney to get more information, according to his experience with all his cases to date, he said there is 70 - 30 ratio, 70% have recieved rfe and 30% got approved without rfe. And after july fiasco he said it's better to wait for rfe and respond rather then ammending 485 application, now that's another question that my attorney will easily make it to top 10 list of all time worst attorneys. So I am looking for second opinion too.
My wife and I did our medicals last July and applied for our I485. However, my wife was pregnant so the doctor decided to not do x-rays and some vaccinations and inform USCIS it should be done after the pregnancy.
Now after we had the baby, do we have to wait for an RFE to come asking us for the missing part of the medical? Or can we be proactive and go complete the medicals and send it to USCIS?
Our PD and RD are close to becoming current, so we may benefit if the second scenario is possible.

that is another excellent choice mats the 10 d would suit someone very well that dosent want to spend more than say 1200 bucks on a camera and i would probably choose if i could find one a 10 d over all the above mentioned cameras as mats said it has the metal body and predictave focus and since its not being sold new you could probably find one well under 1000 bucks then use whatever amount you didnt spend on the body to buy a really good lens. cameras come and go but lenses stick around for a while so you mine as well get a good one.
